INDEX INTERACTIVE was established in 1994 first as a R&D department in order to perform researches on the integration of Data and Multimedia technologies, within IMC Data and Management Consultancy Limited Company which was founded in 1991.

It has actualized the first multimedia project in Turkey, in 1995. "INDEX PERIODICAL PUBLICATIONS DATABASE” was a first in the world. This project has been awarded by the JAYCEES CHAMBER's first prize for "Scientific and Technical Development".

Those years, Windows 95 operating system was not yet introduced to the market by Microsoft company.  

There were no internet explorers as “Yahoo” or “Google”, either. Internet was not in commercial use in Turkey. We were not using celluler phones. “INDEX PERIODICAL PUBLICATIONS DATABASE PROJECT” was an “information society” project. Besides, it was a “Social Memory” project that would support the democratical improvement process.  

IMC has been preparing and directing internet projects, CD-ROM projects, Digicard projects, Portal design and management projects, E-learning projects, Interactive presentation projects for various public and private foundations since 1995.  
 

• INDEKS INTERACTIVE LIMITED COMPANY was the leader far and away of the INTERNET MANAGEMENT CATEGORY in 2001 according to the research made by INTERPRO Research Company.

• INDEKS INTERACTIVE LIMITED COMPANY was second after Superonline Company in the INTERNET MANAGEMENT CATEGORY in 2002 according to the research made by INTERPRO Research Company.

• INDEKS INTERACTIVE LIMITED COMPANY HAS TAKEN PLACE BETWEEN THE FIRST 500 COMPANIES OF THE SECTOR SINCE 2001

• In 2002, INDEX INTERACTIVE has become the solution partner of the ORACLE Company which is one of the biggest soft ware companies of the world.
